This past summer, I took 13 credits, 9 with a study abroad program and 4 for Calculus 2 at a community college. I took Calc 2 at the community college because my university did not offer a course that would end before I left for my study abroad trip. I received an A in the class and attempted to transfer the credit into my university this fall. The math department considers the Calculus 2 course at this community college equivalent, however the credit did not transfer due to the fact that the maximum number of credits a student can receive during the summer is 12, a limitation of which I was unaware. My question is this: on AMCAS, should I make a point to note that the course is equivalent, also showing that I was mildly inattentive to university policy or just let it be? I know this is a pretty small issue, just wondering what you guys thought. Thanks.
