I can't seem to change that section. I thought the personal statement and the course work sections were only permanent?

One typo won't be the end of your dental career, however, several typos and grammatical errors may look bad though.

If it's a small typo and it's in your manual dexterity section of the application that may not bode too well for you as it may suggest your fingers are not that nimble on a keyboard and lord only knows what will happen when you get a hold of a drill. Just kidding - it won't sink your chances. I know you just submitted your application and everything is uncertain but trust me, you'll be alright. 😉
