So I'm in a situation right now where I may not be able to an LOR from a science professor. I asked my prof. to write me an LOR in May and he said yes, but despite several reminders he has not written it and is not responding to my e-mails. I've been accepted at Mississippi College (they don't require LORs). Let's say I were to attend there, work really hard and do well, ask a professor there for an LOR, and then use that LOR to apply to med school. Would that work, or would schools insist on an LOR from an undergrad professor?

Hello fellow Californian! A letter from a prof at Mississippi will suffice. I would stop asking for a letter from your other prof as it seems he is a little unwilling (to say the least...). That will most likely result in a bad LOR you aren't going to want to use anyways.

School's actually insist on the most recent representation of you, so if you go to MC, that would mean LOR from the professors at MC.
