I´d say shadow a DO, get a letter of rec from a DO, and apply broadly to DO schools and lower tier MD schools. Maybe take an extra year of undergrad classes in the meantime in case this application cycle doesn´t work out. An SMP is definitely an option, but a 3.4 and a 32 is on the low end of competitive, and a 3.5 and a 32 is definitely competitive with a broad application. You definitely could do an SMP, but considering the expense, the requisite relocation, and the potential to really hurt your application if you screw up my vote would be for more undergrad if anything. At the very least don´t go to any SMP that doesn´t have a high, documented success rate. Your app is too good to risk doing a less respected/new program
Immediatly, though, I´d take a community college class or two to bump that GPA up to a 3.4 and avoid any automatic screens that medical schools may have. Also if your school has a premedical advisior you should be talking to him/her. And if you choose to apply this cycle, make sure all your apps are in on the first possible day.
