I did a lot of reading and have not found a definitive answer. Does anyone know how many credits transfer from the UMDNJ Masters in Biomedical to the UMDNJ-SOM? I mean, if I got into the SMP in the fall of 2011 and matriculated into the SOM, when would I be graduating. Do you transfer in as a second year med student or how does that work?

You would transfer in as a first year medical student just as if you didn't do the SMP. If you take the optional two medical school courses and do well, I believe you can transfer them over. The other courses wouldn't transfer though.

Hope this helps!

thanks for the quick response. Can someone give me a link to the application on the UMDNJ-SOM website because I can't seem to find any formal information on the program.
