SMPs in the South?

So I've always wanted to live in the South, and I'm wondering if there are any SMPs in any southern states? The only problem is, I'm from California, and I'm thinking that a lot of these programs prefer state residents.

Tulane ACP, if you are waitlisted at an MD or DO school. Tulane also has a new masters that is the same as the ACP.

Mississippi College, but it's not known outside the region. You'd have to work on residency in MS or LA or thereabouts before you do that program.

Generally you can't get instate tuition by moving to another state to go to school. Have to pay in before you draw out.
