Hello!

I'm trying to decide if I should go to the conference in Indiana. I'm currently a first year med student. Did current med students/residents find it helpful?

Thanks!

Ditto. Would love to know before I register. Also, do you (re: anyone out there) think it would be more beneficial to go to the SNMA conference or the SBAS conference the following week?

I would also like more information regarding any upcoming events.

If this board doesnt produce the answers you are looking for you could always check out the SNMA website they often have tons of information about the different workshops that they will be running each day.

:luck:

YES!!!! SNMA Conference is definitely WORTH IT!! I went last year in Chicago and I absolutely LOVED IT!! I am going this year 🙂 once again and plus I am on a lot of committees anyway 🙂

See you there and if you have any questions just let me know

I went to the one in New Orleans in 09 as a MS1 and I found it somewhat helpful. There were some decent workshops and I was able to talk to a good number of residency programs and find out ones that were interested in minority recruitment.

We also had a ridiculous time down there but I'm pretty sure Indy will be a lot different than NO
