i guess a tragic one..
I m an MS III and had been a very bright student uptill high schol.. now in medical school although im good in studies but due to some chronic illness(chronic aches all over the body) i just lost my track..i visited doctors but treatment was and is timely..now i cant study efficiently although i want to. This thing has really made my life hard and also had a depression attack..so what i want to ask is whom should i blame for the aftereffects when i would be facing in future..myself or my fate???
another question what yOu guys would be doing if u were in place of me??
and what i should do in this crucial time of my studies??

I get lots of panic attacks and suffer from constant bouts of depression but I'm doing just fine. It's just about having the right mindset and how hard you're willing to work (despite several hurdles!) to get what you want.

I was also recently diagnosed with a SVT (supra-ventricular tachycardia) which is really quite a benign condition but nevertheless, I do get these horrible tachycardia episodes from time to time (and my HR goes to 230-250/min!) and every time I get an episode, I feel like I'm going to pass out and never wake up, but I try not to worry about it. I was also diagnosed with pre-anticipatory anxiety (and it gets quite serious when I get very stressed) but I still don't let that get in my way.

Unless you have a serious health problem, I'd say, take a year off and get involved in exercise, travel around and then come back Try taking the year off (like by applying for an interruption of studies or something) and see if you still want to do medicine after a year (that is if you're health problems have gotten better.) I'm saying this coz med school requires a long time commitment and it would be such a waste of your time and money if you were to quit midway.

its very true that every thing is about will power..thanx God currently i m doing good..
as for as a year off is concerned its i guess not a wise decision.coz although we dont have money problem(as our professional education too is free almost) but offcourse a big waste of time..and other problems..
