My scores:

AA 19
PAT 16 🙁
QR 18
RC 20
BIO 18
GC 19
OC 18
TS 19

Are the scores indicative of the real exam? I've heard (well, more like read) on this forum that achiever exams are more difficult than the real thing. If they are indeed harder, what can I translate these scores to? In other words, how much higher can I expect to score (assuming my performance stays the same).

I'm scheduled to take the test on the 23rd and I've already rescheudled it once. I'm trying to figure out if I need to reschedule again.

Thanks for the help!

After 18 and over...It's impossible to tell how you will do on the real exam.

If you're lucky, each science score will increase by 4 points.

If not...they will be the same or increase by 1 point.

If you're unlucky...no increase

18 and above on achiever means you have most of the fundamentals down, but you have to cut back on careless mistakes and read questions more carefully.

Achiever is more difficult...but don't let that cause you to slack off. The real DAT is easier, but the difficulty of achiever isn't comparable to the real DAT.

Both are very different. The real DAT was designed to test you. Achiever was designed to test you...but also to serve as a learning experience. Very different scenarios.

Hope that helps.

It does help...thanks for the advice. I'm shooting for 20+ in all categories so I hope its the "lucky" case. How does the PAT compare between the two? Another poster said that he got 18 on achiever and 24 on the real thing...I just want to cross the 18 barrier for the PAT (its increadibly difficult for me and I can never even finish all the sections on this part).

An 18 on PAT achiever is very impressive. I was scoring 16s and 17s on achiever pat and hit 19 on the real thing. Be careful not to develop testing strategies from the achiever but more as a means to increase your general knowledge...
I would say that on average you can expect all your scores, other than reading and QR, to improve by 2-3 points...

Thank you for your input! Out of curiosity, what is the difference in achiever QR and RC and the real DAT? Assuming all things same, why would they not improve?
