Why does nobody every respond to posts in the psych forum-I often see more than 10 viewing and see many posts read tons of times but there are only like 4 people who answer posts here-is it that hard to give back a little bit instead of just take taek taek information people-

I just started my 3rd year of med school. Would you be happier if I just made up some fake story about a psych clerkship I have yet to start, a residency program I know nothing about, a psych patient I have never seen or a medication I have never prescribed?

Well ya douche-When I was in my third year , especially since you obviously are interested in psych since you are here-I was asking and talking to residents, 4th year students etc and was interested in finding out info from those aroundme who were in residency etc-so I posted stuff that I found out from them etc-Unless you are a bumpus and just twiddles his thumbs there and doesnt talk to anyone then that may explain it.

Since when has it been a crime to lurk on a message board?

Analyze...take a xanax or a seroquel or something and take a nap,
or log off the computer and go outside and play.
It's a really nice day outside where I am.

I think a lot of users on this message board are students just looking to get a feel for a particular speciality. To that end they view the threads and FAQs of each different speciality to help them decide what to go into by getting a feel for the various issues one might face, topics of interest, and the general personalities of people who go choose a certain field of medicine. At least, that is what I do. 🙂

PS - Psych is tops on my list right now ...
