Hi there. I'm new here, but I've been reading over these threads for a year or two... I'm a non-traditional (meaning, old!) student applying for 2012. I have applied to Colorado State U, University of Washington and University of South Dakota. I finished my applications for all, and now I'm waiting. Is there anything I need to do? Do you all follow up with the departments directly to make sure that they've received everything you need? What do I do now besides wait?

USD has an interview, my other two do not... Anyone apply here? I realize it's the boonies for most of you so probably not, but would love to get an idea of what their interview process looks like.

I'm also a non-traditional student. 🙂 Last year I emailed the schools saying I had applied and if they required any further information I'd be happy to provide it. Some schools never responded, some said when they would be making decisions and a few actually were missing small details and let me know what I needed to get to them.

Thanks you two... It's killing me to wait but that's all I can do! Especially hard since I come on here and see people getting acceptances, etc. I know that they probably turned in their apps earlier than I did, but still. I'm anxious. I want to get on with what I'm sure is my calling! 🙂

I did contact all three schools and heard back from two of them, and everything's in order. No clue on when I'll hear, although CSU and UW say they notify in March, and USD does interviews in late February...
