So in the trend of all the recent polls, I figure I would add on for all the current residents. Plus, I just learned how to post polls... not to mention +pad+

post pad, still medical student so i'll refrain from messing up the poll.

I was actually pleasantly pleased with the exam. The questions were well written and I actually understood what was being asked. Note that this is not by any means the same as knowing the answers, sadly.

I did Rivers and PEER. I thought the PEER questions were good preparation. I thought the COORD questions sucked beyond belief. In fact, I couldn't force myself to take more than 5 of those questions.

I know lots of folks complain about Dr. Rivers but I really like her book. I was a big BRS fan in med school and it keeps that same format.

I think I'll do the same thing next year, Rivers and PEER. I'll use Tintinalli during the year to try to learn stuff and then Rivers to review and try to remember what I've learned.

BTW, in my post-inservice bliss, I went out and rented the first season of Scrubs on DVD. I'd never seen it before. I can't believe I've been missing this show!

Take care,
Jeff
