I was hoping for some feedback here, and sorry for the post in advance!

CUM GPA: 3.39
Science:2.79
MCAT 8,8,8,T

Shadowed DO and got great letter, great LOR's in general, LOTS of extracurric, including being a certified nurse aide, phlebotomist, working with students with disabilities, peer wellness counselor, working for disability services reading books on tape for blind students, 2 missions trips, arts and sciences student government, volunteered at two ER's, etc.

I applied to: CCOM, AZCOM, UNECOM, NYCOM, PCOM (x2), LECOM(x2), WVSOM, DMUCOM, OUCOM, TUCOM(x2), COMP, NOVA, KCOM.

Anyone get interviews/acceptances with stats like mine? Thanks for your time!

I feel pretty confident so based on that I think you should too because your stats are very close to mine,... 8,8,8,M 3.39 CUM 3.76 Science.
Your extracurric stuff is more extensive than mine and I only applied to 3 schools. I am re-taking the MCAT in August and believe I will go up 2-6 points but from talking to a lot of folks I honestly think I am competitive as is.

Be smart where you apply, some schools cut off at 3.0 for either science and cumulative. You should be able to get at least one or two interviews, then just nail them and you should be fine.

Know any names or sources for that data?

I've got similar stats, except for fewer ECs (although I did shadow DOs and got great letters) and a higher MCAT.

i have similiar stats..... a tad lower on the MCATS, and not as many ECs.

i applied late in the app cycle last year.. actually i applied and finished secondaries in november but my DO LOR took a while.. (didn't arrive til early march) so i actually missed a few deadlines.
however those deadlines i didn't miss.. i did get interviews. both TUCOM's and LECOM-Erie.

i was one of the last interview sessions though.. so i was waitlisted. which sucks... cuz here i am reapplying... the app process sucks too!

but yeah.. its verrrry possible.
good luck! :luck:

Thanks for your input! What were your stats, specifically, if you don't mind my asking?

apply as early as you can and make sure you have a story for the BCPM
