SoCal schools

Just a question of interest, are you thinking of applying without a B.S. and just the minimum # of credits? I am.

I don't know what you mean by min units, but they require a BA/BS before you can enroll (it's on their website). You can apply while in the process of getting one, but if they accept you and you don't receive one...then your acceptance gets revoked.
for this year (class of 2007), they required a minimum gpa of 3.0 to be considered...and scores above 300 for TS, AA, and RC on the OAT...I think SCCO is pretty hard..if you have decent stats..go for it..the OAT is not that bad..just make sure you study the right materials...
According to my research only 3 schools require a bachelor's degree, and the rest prefer them. When I said min units I was referring to the schools that don't require a degree.
this might seem like a dumb question..but isnt SCCO the only soCal optometry school? as of now at least..According to my research only 3 schools require a bachelor's degree, and the rest prefer them. When I said min units I was referring to the schools that don't require a degree.
No it's not a dumb question, you just don't understand. Out of all the optometry schools in the U.S., there are only 3 that require a bachelor's degree. I wasn't saying that there were 3 schools in southern Cali, because I know that there are only 2 optometry schools in the whole state of Cali. Should have kept that to yourself.
oops..quoted the wrong box..my bad, didnt mean to offend..just making sure gawshNo it's not a dumb question, you just don't understand. no problem princesspinknes, just had to make sure that you weren't calling me out. I meant no harm.
