  1. Pharmacy Student

First off, I have read this thread and loved it.

http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=844482

Anyway, I am close to finishing my last semester before I start pharmacy this August and had a few questions: (I'll make it easier by numbering them)

1. How do I get a pharmacy internship? I have 0 pharmacy experience.

2. How do I get residency? What do I need to do to have a competitive CV?

3. Who do I speak to for old tests/material?

4. What do I have to do if I want to work in the industry?

5. Any other things you want to add?

Anything is appreciated.

I think what you linked is a very good thread to get started.

Here are some more readings that may be of interest to you...

2. How do I get residency? What do I need to do to have a competitive CV?

3. Who do I speak to for old tests/material?
I would start with the course coordinator/professor. Depending on your program/professor, they may/may not strongly discourage the practice of circulating old exams. While I'm by no means encouraging you to break rules, but be aware that even then sometimes, old exams can be found circulating underground between groups/pockets of students. Oftentimes, certain pharmacy groups will also have archives of old exams, collected over decades--some may be made available to all students in the class, others may use them as 'perks' for joining said group.

4. What do I have to do if I want to work in the industry?
5. Any other things you want to add?
FYI while there are many helpful/generous souls willing to take the time to answer all sorts of questions on this forums, the thread search function is your friend 👍

1) Got mine from a job fair my school hosted. Other good ways are by networking with your classmates - many of them will know of openings that you might be able to get. Also through IPPEs, possibly. And finally good old fashioned cold calls - builds character. 😉

2) No idea.

3) Upperclassman.

4) No idea.

5) It goes by faster than you think, thankfully. 🙂

Good Luck! :luck:

Clearly my archiving skills are being challenged! 😱
