Hi,
I am another application looking for some advice. I took the MCAT last year and scored 28S (P12 V6 B10), I am registered for the June MCAT but would be more comfortable writing the July 8th one. I was wondering if changing my MCAT day would jeopardize my chances.

I have an engineering degree with a 3.85 GPA while my science GPA is 3.99. I have the usual EC including hospital volunteering for 4+ years, big brother, tutoring, research and working fulltime.

Thank you very much for your feedback!
Cheers 🙂

Don't take the exam if you don't feel ready. So if you need to postpone a month, then do it. However, I would still submit your primary in June. Indicate on there that you are waiting to retake the MCAT. Submit to just the schools that you absolutely want to apply to so that your application can get verified. Then you can add additional schools after your MCAT score is released. Also try to work on secondary essays ahead of time so that you can submit them asap when you receive them.
