Hi,
I'm a pre-pharmacy student at UMKC and am having some scheduling conflicts. The classes that they require for us to cover are not as extensive as the 2 + 4 programs at other universities. The prereqs are:

Comp I
Comp II
College Algebra
Trig
Calculus [FONT='Times New Roman','serif']with Analytical Geometry.
Biology I
Biology II
Chem. I w/ lab
Chem. II w/ lab
Physics w/ lab
American Govt

I don't want to limit my choices with taking only these prereqs. Would you recommend adding on other major universities accepted prerequisite classes or just focusing on these? Thanks for the help.

I'm surprised they don't require Org I & II. Are you sure that list is accurate?

No, to the fall of 09' program. I was a pre-nursing major and switched over to pharmacy so I have another year after this spring semester. So I'll have enought time to get extra classes in if needed.

Yes these are the only prerequisites required because it's designed to be a
1 + 5 program. Here's a link : http://pharmacy.umkc.edu/New/pharm/StuSer/PharmDReq/images/RegularAdmission.pdf

Here's what my advisor wants me to do, however I've been reading this forumn and a lot of people think that taking Chemistry earlier would help with the PCAT so I don't want to put it off until next year.
