Some DATs harder than others?

Are some DAT's harder than others? For example, i scored a 22 TS and that was 98.3%, but i've seen 23 TS with a 97%! On math i got an 18 which was 86.6%, and i've seen several 19's in the 80th percentile! Why is this?! I'm assuming that I got a harder exam than most, and I am really contemplating retaking because i Got a very low RC score (16).

So if my exam was indeed harder than others I prob should retake it correct? could someone please share their thoughts on this topic. Thank you !

If you're planning to retake the DAT on the assumption that you might get an easier test, I'd say you're wasting your time. DAT percentile is a topic that comes up pretty often, and here's the link to an old thread that you might find helpful:

If you scroll down a little, someone posts an excerpt about how the ADA scores the DAT. But basically the gist of the whole thread is that DAT percentiles don't mean much. Unless they've done a complete overhaul of their entire system, I'd say that the information provided is still applicable (someone correct me if I'm wrong please).
