You're absolutely entitled to your opinion. And if I'm in a hospital I don't necessarily want to be only dealing with doctor personalities. But I think you're largely in the minority here.
I think the vast majority of all people, when it comes down to talking to somebody about their health and their options, will want to talk to the most highly educated and experienced person on the subject.
I think you're dramatically underrating physicians' ability to deal with people and the experience they get in both their training in medical school and internship/residency.
Like I said...your opinion is from your experience, so I can't argue with your opinion. I just expect most people would want to speak with a doctor.
Edit: I also think there's a much smaller gap from MD/DO to NP/PA than there is from NP/PA to RN.
Edit2: I also agree with most of your points. Medicine certainly isn't as glamorous as it's built up to be. But that part of point #1 irked me a bit.
