I just spent the last two hours calling DO schools and was only able to get in contact with half of the admissions offices...

So I have AP credits for CHEM and BIO
but apparently UNECOM doesn't accept AP Credits and want you to take upper level courses.

I took upper level bio courses but not chem. should i do a post bacc for gen chem????

Do you know other schools that dont accept AP credits?

AP credits for science courses are generally not a good idea unless supplemented by upper level science courses...

Well, I have a LOT of upper level bio courses but not inorganic chemistry. Do you think I should do a Post-Bacc for Chem or no?

If the schools you are most interested in don't accept what you have then find a way to take the courses they will accept. It could be as simple as enrolling at a local college/university and retaking some classes or taking more advanced courses like biochem.... You can enroll as a second bachelors seeking student and just not finish it if/when you get accepted.

Little differences is why it's always best to check on what exactly the schools you want want for themselves.

Some schools also accept CLEP exams, which are cheap and fast ways to get credit for courses.

TouroNY doesn't accept AP credits apparently. Would have been good to know prior to one month before classes start...

I'd enroll in community college courses if tou find out you have to take the courses. That's what I did

What do you mean 10 months?

Touro Harlem accepted some students who had used AP credits for pre-reqs but ended up using those AP credits as an excuse not to hold their seat a month before classes start. Some of those students were accepted in fall 2015 and are recently being told that the AP credits don't count towards the required pre-med coursework.
