I'm in between a sophomore and junior credit wise, majoringin psychology, minoring in biology and obviously have a concentration inpre-medical with a current GPA of 3.9. My problem/worry is I have 3 W's on mytranscript 2 in Gen Eds, 1 in Science. The 2 Gen Eds were Italian and philosophy. The other was physics (I felt I took it prematurely and SWEAR to ace when Iretake it to compensate). Does anyone think this will be a problem or haveany further advice for an aspiring doc?

Do well in the rest of your courses and do well on the MCAT. When interview time comes around, make sure you can explain the discrepancies that you named

This. And don't get any more W's. Keep up that 3.9 and hit out a good MCAT and you'll be golden.

Keep up the good GPA. Don't get anymore W's. You're fine.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Becoming a doctor is my greatest desire, but from that desire also comes fear of not reaching my goal. I'm just so anal about everything regarding my academics such as the W's or a B+ grade

You're definitely not alone. Most people are worried about their grades, EC's, Shadowing, MCAT, etc etc. Its part of being a pre-med. For what its worth, I have one D in a gen ed. class and two C+'s in pre-reqs, and I have 3 interviews this cycle. A couple slip ups here or there aren't going to ruin you. You may not get into Harvard of San Francisco, but you'll be a doctor. Keep your head in the game and best of luck!
