Here is some information for KCOM students who have family and friends living in the Dallas and Chicago area..
Ozark Airlines is trying to set up a few routes from Columbia, MO to Dallas and Chicago. They are currently in the process of attaining a lease at the airports in those two cities. If everything goes well, the airlines might be up and running in October. The jets will carry 32 passengers, operate six times a week, with two daily round trips from Columbia to Dallas and three round trips from Columbia to Chicago. Approximate price for one-way ticket: $150 to Dallas, $100 to Chicago.
This beats driving to KC to catch a flight out during Christmas!!
