Hi everyone,

Take this info as you wish...

I spoke with admissions just a few weeks ago, when they told me that they will not look at or process apps until the end of august.

I spoke with admissions again today, and they told me that they will not look at or process until the end of october.

So, I'm not quite sure whats the truth over there.

Just thought maybe somebody out there would want to know.

Take care,
G.

Damn! 😡 I've been waiting for that one.

They dont start interviewing until the first week of November, so technically you wont hear anything until at least October anyway. Who cares when they officially "look" at your application. You probably got 2 different secretaries who had 2 slightly different answers with the same meaning they were trying to get across.... you wont hear anything for at least 6-8 more weeks, so hold tight. If you're stuff is in right now, you'll be the first group to be interviewed and you'll know either way before christmas. Dont sweat it.

I understand that secondaries are only for interviewees only. And I think I read somewhere in this forum that you actually fill out the secondary when you're there interviewing.

I have a question though...

Are we still suppose to send letters of recommendations? If so, does anyone know which letters are requested? I'm assuming that they would like these with the AACOMAS to make their interview invite decision. I would have looked at their website for information, but my computer doesn't load the webpage worth anything. 🙁

From what I've heard from previous applicants, you do not send any letters unless you have been invited for an interview.

I called and asked if I could send in my LOR's just a week after they recieved my primary from AACOMAS. The secratary told me it was OK and I had them sent in. Lari, if you call and ask them, I'm sure they'll allow you to send yours in too; its nice to get it out of the way and have you application there complete, you know? Peace,

turkdlit.

what letters do they want? 2 sci and a DO?

I just called and they said end of aug. or early sept. before they process.
