if youve got impaired il-1, will it effect fx of Tcells or leukotriene production by pmns... they both seem like reasonable consequences according to FA.

if youve got absent bowel sounds and rebound tenderness, thats usually a small bowel obstruction right?

Absent bowel sounds and rebound tenderness is probably appendicitis.
SBO presents with high pitched tinkling bowel sounds with intermittent rushes. The patient generally has an increase in pain when the rushes occur. SBO pain is diffuse (distention of a viscus) not rebound (peritonitis) unless of course they have ruptured their small bowel.
