So, I see that people study anywhere from 0 days to months; makes sense depending on everyone's comfort level.
But, to be safe, I do want to review. So what would be the best way to read/review FA? I have heard of people making flashcards with DDx for each symptom--what symptoms are they focusing (just stuff in FA)? Some have said have a mnemonics for your DDx and so on. Getting a little worried since I was planning on reading FA and watching some PE videos someone posted (thanks!).
However, there have been a few who have barely passes so if I don't want to risk it, what is the best way to get the best studying bang for my buck.
It seems like I should be making some kind of review sheet or something so I dont have to 'think' much during the exam....😕
some specific things (for which I don't see a clear explanation yet)
1. In FA- for the Depressed mood minicases- it says the WORK-UP is "physical exam and mental status exam". Aren't we supposed to DO those things, not list them under work-up? The way they have it written makes you assume that you just talk in these cases, but don't examine....
2. FA will list "lytes, glc, ast/alt" all on the same line. Is that legit to group things? Is this explained anywhere?
Thanks to all past test takers for their advice and good luk to the future ones.
