I am from Canada Ontario and am planning to apply through AADSAS in the 2008 cycle.
I am unsure about my standings in this run and was wondering if someone could reveal some light for me.
My dat scores were not so great as i didnt really study the first time around after 2nd year of undergrad. I am going into my 4th year this september and plan to take the canadian dat again.
My current dat scores are
Reading and comp - 17
Bio - 19
chem - 19
Science - 19
Academic average - 18
Perception - 19
Carving - 8
My GPA is 3.66/4 overall and 3.66/4 for science courses
(calculated according to University of Toronto dentistry DPA conversions)
I have 2 summers worth of Job shadowing experiences with 2 dentists
Also i have numerous volunteer experiences at hospitals

ps. if I were to take the dat, would the schools wait for the new one to come out? Because it is in november 2007.
