I just graduated and got my bachlors in Biology. I want to start studying for the DAT, people who have already taken it can u please give me advice on how and what to study please. If you can put yourself in my spot and tell me what material is good to study and how many months should I give my self to study. I definetly was thinking for about 3 months and to use Barrons DAT book is that fine do u think I will pass just studying that book and that much time given?

Why the switch from optometry to dentistry? I truely believe you should start shadowing first and foremost to know what you are getting yourself into. Also the DAT isnt easier than the OAT, I think its slightly harder. So you might as well do a OAT retake instead of waltzing into another field.

Otherwise theres a sticky http://forums.studentdoctor.net/threads/sample-dat-study-schedule.719365/ literally outlining everything you need to know on the front page....And the barrons DAT book will not be enough.
3 months is more than enough time.

I just read through your previous posts. I think you need to slow down and think about what you are doing.
I understand that a low score can make you think your chances at optometry school are done but don't do anything rash. Seriously. Slow down, friend.
