something wrong with this ecg?

First of all, I am NOT a med student or physician i am an beginning EMT student.

Yesterday while doing some training with the monitors i noticed something strange on one of my fellow student's ecg and my teacher wasnt able to tell me exactly what was wrong.

PR and ST segments are nowhere to be found. sorry blurry cell phone picture but you can still see what i mean.

All Im trying to do is to get better input than from paramedics.

Was that the cleanest segment of the tracing? Doesn't look like a very good tracing. Motion artifact or something combined with early repolarization (not uncommon in young men) perhaps, but don't quote me.

If you want help seeing the segments in question, then ask; that's OK. But you asked "what's wrong with this EKG?". If there is a concern that this EKG is abnormal, then the question should have been addressed to the individual in question's physician by that individual. Otherwise this is a form of asking for medical advice and is expressly against the terms of service you agreed to when signing up for this site. I've tried to label the segments for you.

thanks i can see the PR segment now.... still not sure about ST... seems very very short to me. Instantaneous repolarization? 😕
