Hello Everyone,
I took the canadian DAT in this Feb for the first time and i got an AA 15,RC 20 and carving 5:scared:.I decided just a month before to go for DAT and i used just Kaplan BB 2008-2009 ed.I knew it was not enough but i wanted to try for it..i saw lot of people suggesting Destroyer, achiever,CDP,so am little confused what to opt for and what is best for carving??
I would really appreciate all suggestions..
Thanks..

You're not going for an Ontario school are you? Western uses RC for your interview and your AA for admissions where UT puts priority on the PAT. Add topscore to that list from what I've read. Destroyer if you have the money. Carving, you can get the carving kit and soaps from the Canadian Dental Association website for practice. Also, there is a company called IQ Publishing based in Saskatchewan, they have some carving items.

Yea I m planning for ontario schools.Becoz i am from toronto. Thanks a lot for your reply and i guess topscore lasts for 6-7 months right?I am planning to retake in Nov will full preparations.I have the carving kit from CDA,i used 2 soaps but they dont have enough carving items,so i cudnt understand what the carving is really..I guess IQ would be a good source...

I am applying to McGill, do you know which section of the DAT they put an emphasis on? That way I could concentrate on that section.

Thanks!
