Anyone here drink soylent during your shift? Sometimes I don't really have time to eat. I've never even tried the stuff, is it worth looking into?

i usually do protein bar, bottled water, nuts, or protein drink during 10 hour shift. To be fair soylent is very delicious like pancake batter almost.

Nah.
I wouldn't work somewhere that didn't allow meals.
I've got too much self respect.

Furthermore, i watched a Vice piece where they interviewed the Soylent guy.

During the interview, the cameraman caught a bunch of rats scurrying around.
That, and mold or something.

I'd just eat Snickers, it will be more enjoyable and cheaper than Soylent Green.

I have the powdered version since it was cheaper. It's definitely something you have to get used to since it's super bland but it'll definitely fill you up. If you're going to get Soylent I would suggest getting the bottled ones since it's smoother (and they also have a bunch of different flavors now: vanilla, coffee, chai, and cocoa)

I sit down and eat full meals. I'm not a slave.

Sams Club protein shakes are pretty good and very convenient. Would recommend looking into those. They sell 4 packs at Walmart but I save a few bucks buying packs of 12 at SC.

Also they use high quality sources of protein, not soy. (Assuming soylent uses soy based on name, as it is cheap and inferior amino acid spectrum, gyno incidence, etc.). Using soy is an easy way to deceive customers and make more profit.

I use Huel as a meal replacement at work. Similar vibe to Soylent as it's a powder you mix in a shaker bottle.

Huel uses oats and pea protein as it's main carb/protein source vs soy in Soylent. Based on consuming 2k calories a day of it you would meet all your RDAs with pretty good macros.

It's vanilla flavored but I don't really notice the vanilla much, kinda tastes and mouth feels like liquefied oatmeal. I generally mix in cinnamon, though they just released flavor shots you can order if you don't want to both experimenting on your own.

Works well as a snack if you don't want to eat a full meal or if you don't have time to make something before running out of the house.
