I'm hoping some more seasoned pharmacists to lend some insight. Some older pharmacist at work was telling me this story about how brand name Motrin 800 had some special coating on it which made it dissolve slower. He said it was different than the 400 and the 600 and it was better.
Is this some old fore lore thing that reps mentioned to set it apart or did it actually have a different coating? I looked at D.I and package inserts and it sounds like B.S. to me but you never know. I've actually never even seen brand Motrin.
