Hey guys, I have an internship questions. Do fourth year veterinary students ever match to speciality internships before rotating?

Generally, no. All of the specialty internships I know of require a rotating internship first.

It depends on the program. For many specialty internships like surgery, a rotating internship is a prerequisite. But there are others that don't require this, like a lot of emergency internships, some of the zoo, shelter medicine, and so on. So you need to check the program descriptions.
