Okay, so Junior 3.75 student here worried about his potential Letters of Recommendation.

1. I only did research my freshman year at the local university hospital cancer center. The person I worked under only had a masters degree though and left at the end of the year to pursue his PHD elsewhere. We've kept in touch and he said he'll write me a letter, but I'm wondering is that good enough if he did not run the lab himself?

2. Would it be acceptable to get a letter from a boss I was close with saying how I worked well interacting with other employees in group projects and how I was such an atypically good employee who quickly learned multiple roles?

3. I have one letter from a physics professor in the bag. That's it. So I need at least two other letters even if the top two choices pan out. Is this enough time to develop a rapport with a teacher that will feel comfortable in writing me a letter or am I screwed? I need the letters by this May.

Thanks.
