For a given mass, if the current were decreased by a factor of 2, the exit speed would:
. increase by a factor of 2
. increase by a factor of 2
. decrease by a factor of 2
. decrease by a factor of 2

Conservation of energy:

1/2mv^2 = V*I*t -----> mv^2 = 2 VIt -------> v = Sqrt (2VIt)/m ...

V = voltage, t = time , I = current.
