Spending some months of research in USA from foreign student

Hi,

could anyone please give me any advice about going to US and doing a period of research there?

I'm a young foreign student, not having the degree yet, and I'd like to spend some months in some US research lab to enjoy some biomedical-related research activity.

I'm good in computer programming (exspecially C++), very interested in biomedical research and exspecially I'd *love* to spend some month in some US lab!!
