So I just got back from watching the Movie "Sweeny Tod" and Let me tell you it was really a great movie. They sold the humor and morbidity which leads me to my Issue.

Sometimes when he cut the throat of the guys he was shaving blood spurted out of the trachea like it was a damn artery. I do have to say that the spray was very realistic, artery-like and the prop blood was too. So when scenes like this came up I laughed histerically while the whole audience just gasped and cringed. I laughed whenever this came up but also the wet packing sounds of the bodies and smacking of them eating the "meat pies" meanwhile singing songs in a cheerful manner (or just at the sheer crazyness of the movie). classic Burton.

It also remined me that in a time when physcians were less common (and less sucessful) in desperation you could go to your local barber in order to get medical advice, perform surgery or dentistry.

Everyone should see this movie It was great, but also maybe I'm just a little sick in the head too. :meanie::meanie::meanie::meanie:

Some medical schools, for example UCLA, discourage taking anatomy as an undergraduate and advocate taking classes in the social sciences instead.

Yes, too much time in anatomy.

I was a psych undergrad and now an anatomy grad student. I spent all last year in the anatomy lab and this semester teaching the second year med students anatomy course down here. so yeah
