SPEP Questions

-On the 4th page (pg. 2) of http://www.tambcd.edu/education/stu...-2012-for-college-students-1-16-total-web.pdf , "parents' most recent annual income total gross income" is required.
-My parents are divorced, I've been living with only my aunt since forever, and my mother has been paying my aunt about $1000 per year to take care of me.
-My mother claims me on her taxes, and my father has not paid child support.

Question 1: Am I required to turn in all of their income tax forms or just my mother's?
Question 2: Is my aunt an "immediate family member"?
Question 3: Do I come from a "single parent family"? o-o

-According to http://bcd.tamhsc.edu/education/studentdevelopment/pdfs2011/2012-spep-collegiate-2-brochure.pdf , the program is supposed to help prep for the DAT.

Question 4: Would taking the DAT beforehand help or harm my application?

Good luck on your application for SPEP.. I was in it this year.. and it was a great experience!

1. I would only turn in my mothers income tax, since shes the one that files for you.
2. I believe your aunt is an immediate family member
3. Parents are divorced, so yes you are from a single parent household.

4. I didn't take the DAT before the program started, their DAT prep was "ok".. It was just tough to prepare for the DAT while taking these upper level biology D1 courses. Its a great program to say the least!
