Hi all. While I feel extremely fortunate to have more than one school option on the table, I am struggling over how to make the decision of which school to attend. So, I made a little spreadsheet to allow me to break it down factor-by-factor. (I think that this has been done before, but I still thought I'd share this in case it's a useful tool for anyone.)

First, visit this link and download the spreadsheet: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B513OaMePCYPdm43NnhZWGRnWGM/edit?usp=sharing

Second, note that there are two tabs: one where the final scores are invisible and one where they're visible. It's your choice whether you want to keep blind to your final scores until you've rated all your factors.

Third: Create your list of factors that are personally relevant for you. I have room for twelve here. Rank each factor for how important it is for your decision.

Fourth: List your schools. I've put room for ten schools (whoa!). Then rank each school on how well it meets your need for each factor.

Final scores are listed under each school.

Have fun playing around with it, changing the weighting of each factor, for example. I hope it's helpful for someone. At the very least, I'm finding it entertaining.
