Spring 2004 Grades and AADSAS

I am currently in my spring 2004 quarter. My finals aren't till the 3rd week of June. I plan on submitting my AADSAS at the beginning of June because I want to get it in early. My question is, do the dental schools require the spring 2004 grades, meaning do I have to wait till my grades are released and then send in my transcript? Or, if I've already submitted my application without spring 2004 grades, can I submit them later on? How does this scenario work?

Just submit the AADSAS without the spring semester grades. AADSAS will send you an academic update form where you can add the new grades....also, the schools will usually ask for a new transcript which you can send on your own. The important thing is to just get in your AADSAS app ASAP!

Hey everybody! I hope you guys can help me out with some things. I just finished taking my finals and I've gotten my most recent transcript and letters of recommendation intact. But I won't be taking the DAT until late July or early August. Do I have to wait until i take my DAT before I can submit my AADSAS application? Basically, will my AADSAS application be disregarded since it is incomplete, due to missing DAT scores? Thanks for the help.

second2none, you should go ahead to mark that u will take dat in july/august.
and send it everything. cos what some schools do is to accept a fax copy of ur dat score(the copy u get after taking the test). then ur file will be completed. DAT is fast, but aadsas takes 3-4 wks. Well, it is true that your application will be disregarded till ur file is completed, but it is better to have it complete in august then september.

jlaha, i donno the exact answer, but i know u could update ur grades later on. which one is more important to u: an extra 10 dollars to send ur transcript to aadsas again vs. having ur file completed now/3-4 wks?

ur spring quarter grade may not be as important as your completion of ur BS degree.
you may want to wait till u have ur spring grade and ur degree and update it together.
