Spring Break Plans?

What do most 3rd years do for spring break? My school offers 2 weeks off, for either vacation or elective rotation. Wondering, does it matter what you do during this time?

Here's how I would take it:
If you are pursuing a competitive residency, use it to gain a short rotation in that area. If not, take a well-deserved break.

I don't think we had a spring break...we did have an optional 2-week elective period after our 11-week IM rotation, where you could take Path or Rads. I chose Path.

Some schools have spring break in 3rd year? I didn't know that existed.

We get a break for Christmas 3rd year, and I thought that was pretty good.

You and me both. These next 2.5 weeks will be my last extended break until the end of M3 year (assuming I decide to take time off before starting M4 year, which I probably wont.) I may get a day off or 2 here and there on national holidays, but that's about it. 🙁

Hey at least you get 2.5 weeks. I get 7 days (Dec. 25 to Jan. 1) which really isn't anything because I'm on duty the 24th and my family pretty much has every other second stuffed with some holiday crap. I'll probably still be tired when I get back to school on the 2nd -- when I think I'll also be on duty
