And I'm quite disappointed that I didn't perform as well as I've expected in Human Physiology.

My instructor for that course is a complete jerk. He's realy fake and friendly during the semester, but when the semester ended, he never responded to any of my emails.

I basically wanted to see what I got on my final exam. But he never responded.

He's the type of instructor who gives you high or decent scores for the midterm exams, but grades strictly on the final exams to screw students over when it comes to the grades for his classes.

I heard from a friend of mine that there are rumors that my human phys instructor could not get accepted into medical school. Hence he's being a jerk to students.

I ended up with a "B" for the course, but was hoping to get an A- since getting an A for his course his hard. His A grading scale is 90-95 for an A- grade and 96-100 for an A, and nobody in the last two years has gotten an A in his course.
Just wanted to vent. 😡

most people get a professor or two like this over their career. i know it hurts... and if you need to vent... go right ahead (though this may not be the best place to do it; you're preaching to the choir; i had a 93 in my genetics class and ended up with a B)

......life sucks then you die.

btw, lots of teachers are like that for pre-med classes....bunch of jerks....

there is nothing wrong with you...

I can relate, had a wonderful physics teacher last summer, and was in her office almost every day after class working problems and asking questions. When it came down to the grade at the end, I missed the A by only like half a point. I improved throughout the course yet she still held her position and wouldn't budge due to the fact that we had extra credit "clicker points". Half the time the damn clicker wouldn't even work. But oh well, point is, gotta move on.

Damn that really really sucks hearing that your physics instructor was very unyielding on giving you an A for physics, despite the fact that you were 1/2 point off.

I in fact had that dilemma this past semester for O-Chem II. I was very borderline between a B and a B+, and my instructor gave me the better grade. Had he done something similar to your physics instructor, I would have gone berserk!

Hi, I feel the exact same way !! I receive a B in the Human Anatomy class which I though I was getting an A. My professor stated that my average in the class was an 88 and I had the highest grade in the class. BUM!! I really wish that he had would have curve but of course he didn't. I was so upset due the fact I made a in everything else for the semester. Anyway, Good luck!!
