At least he did not recommend putting an art line in all patients.
Back in residency one of my Attendings was essentially banned from OB because he wanted to put art lines in just about everyone. Needless to say no one enjoyed working with him.
Funny-- that's exactly what we joked about afterwards. Art lines for every parturient!
Went on the high roller yesterday. Twice. Needless to say I didn't make the morning sessions
