Out of curiosity, has anyone on the board applied for SSHRC this year, or know anyone who did? I'm waiting with baited breath to learn whether I'm shortlisted or not, and I'm wondering if they've sent out the shortlist letters yet or not.

I applied to SSHRC this year. I received an email in the middle of January stating that SSHRC had received my application (which I was assuming was good because it made it through the school departmental review) but nothing since. Did you get that email too? I didn't know they send a letter saying you're shortlisted.

Yeah, I got that e-mail. We're supposed to get a short-list letter from the initial review they did in early Feb. I've heard that the short-list letter lists your score, though, so you have a good idea of whether or not you're getting the award in April.
