Studying in Canada because it's cheaper. The school I want to apply to and have the best shot is the state med school, where my family resides.
I just looked at their updated requirements: (Permanent residents are encouraged to have at least one year of full-time course work at a college or university in the United States.)
Does this weaken my application or have to get even a higher GPA/MCAT to be considered competitive? Am I basically treated as an international student now?
