You are considered a US applicant. I do not think there is any bias against a Canadian undergrad. I also went to high school and did undergrad in Canada followed by graduate schools in US and got accepted to 2 MD schools this cycle. Canadian degrees are considered equivalent to US degrees. Just make sure all your prereqs line up with what each school requires.
