I was very impressed with St. Chris, but not being familar with the program until I interviewed there, I was wondering what its reputation is in the east coast and how well is the fellowship placement. Was also curious about a previous thread saying that they have high faculty turnover. If anyone could comment that would be great and good luck!

Local reputation is very good, the farther away you get from philly the less well known it gets but they place people all over the country in very nice fellowships so you should generally find someone that knows of St. Chris. The high faculty turn over was a symptom of financial difficulties that the company that owned st. chris had. St. Chris itself has always been a profitable hospital as far as I know. Things stabilized a couple years back and the turnover is a thing of the past.
As far as fellowships go about 50% of the people do some sort of fellowships, I don't know the specifics but I know of people going to CHOP, DC children's. However I do know the PD, and the faculty there support their residents very very well.
