St. Joe's AZ

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
What do you mean they have a bug?

I haven't heard anything from them either. I tried emailing the program but haven't gotten a response.

Has anyone heard anything from them yet? For a program that takes 18 people, I haven't heard of anyone getting responses.

I interviewed at Phoenix Children's/Maricopa on Friday and thought that one or two of the applicants interviewing with me had interviewed at St. Joe's already. I didn't apply there so I'm not for sure on this though. Good luck!

Can a moderator please close this thread - it is totally useless and not a good use of forum space for a single user to post a message for 20 minutes, obviously so only a few can read, then delete. If you want to send a private message, do so.

No kidding, it is really annoying. If you have something to say, say it.

Sorry, but I don't know of any violation of the SDN TOS of posting and then deleting your post because you thought better of it.

I suggest we all read between the dots (and look at the thread titles which weren't deleted) and decide what we think is being said. Alternately, everyone follow along on SDN Live. When you see a post in the thread, quote it and then it can't be deleted. It's magic!

Actually, I did see the first deleted post and it was an extended accusation of students/residents being treated poorly by the institution based entirely on hearsay. I'm glad it was deleted.

I am still editing the post and trying to get more information from my sources. It was hard to figure out what to put in the post which could help applicants to this residency program. Most of this information came from one source who apparently didn't want personal information posted. But the concerns actually were:

1. The Peds residency program has, from year to year, done a poor job communicating with applicants. I.e. emails not returned, applicants having trouble scheduling interviews, poorly organized.

2. There is great concern about poor didactics at this institution, and thanks to OBP's link in another thread I found that their board passage rate is 59 percent, ouch.
