Hi, I don't know if anyone else has had this problem with St. Luke's...
I got an interview offer over 2 weeks ago, was given no specific dates for interview, but requested a couple dates. I contacted Donna Earle ([email protected] ) via e-mail and left voicemails several times now, and have gotten NO response.
This is really starting to piss me off, and I am close to declining the interview at this point, though I'd rather not. Scheduling all of this travel is hard when the program is flakey. Has anyone gotten a real confirmation from St. Luke's, and if so, the heck did you do so? Thanks.

i also replied to this question in the interview thread, but yeah, heard back from st. lukes 11 days after i emailed (didn't even see there was a phone # to call). the email from earle restated the date i had requested, asked me to reply back that this was indeed the date i wanted, and said that more info would be on the way. it also apologized for the delay, which was due to the "large amount of time the application review process takes" (not the exact wording, but don't have the email on hand to quote it -- something to that effect) ...

also haven't heard back from uconn or drexel in 2+ weeks after requesting a date. i was going to cancel those, but i guess they went ahead and did it for me. jeez ...

I also received an invite maybe 2 weeks ago and replied with possible dates. But they have not contacted me to confirm a date. Very frustrating...

i replied to the Ms. Earle's email on 10/25 (barely 2 hrs after the offer), and only just heard back yesterday (11/1). My email had the exact same content as StealYourFace's. Before i got the reply back, i actually called and briefly spoke to Donna Earle - she said she would only respond to emails and wouldn't let me confirm a date over the phone.

Good luck!

I should add that the date i requested to interview on is barely 1 week and a half away, so likely this is the only reason why she responded to me after only 7 days...

Do you think it is at all possible that they "accidently" sent out interview invites? This actually happened with an ER program in NY today they sent out invites to everyone that applied. Difference was they sent out an email afterwards stating to ignore the first one.

i think more likely is that the interview process there is disorganized and/or residency coordinator works part-time, only a couple of days a week or something

just a guess

just heard from her today, after two weeks... i was very close to just emailing her and cancelling, especially after reading this thread..😉

anyway, just wanted to let you know that they will eventually get back to you, most likely soon.

Hi everyone,
same story, asked to interview, gave dates and then I didn't hear back after 2 e-mails. I called them (with the number on Frieda) and it looks like they were having problems with their webserver and for a week scattered e-mails were lost or something. The secretary (Donna) was very apologetic about this, so you might want to call now or e-mail again.

I finally got an e-mail from Donna with an interview date. I had originally written her on 10/23, so it took 11 days... Just be patient, and she will get back to you.

Finally got in touch with Donna Earle; called (212-523-3975), just happened to catch her. What a pain in the butt, but got everything squared away. Thanks everyone; if I didn't know this was pretty common with St. Luke's, would've cancelled.
