STA 21 medical option

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Does anyone know if someone can choose to do this option and get any BS, or does it have to be a chem/bio/phys with pre-med concentrations?

As long as you do the pre-reqs for med school. You should be good to go.

What if the pre-reqs are already done?

Then have a degree completion plan. The people reviewing those packages should understand that you can major in anything and go to med school.

One thing to keep in mind with the STA-21 program is that the payback is 9 years if you do HPSP and 12 years if you go to USUHS! You are also not guarenteed to go to med-school with the program.

You would be if you did the Medical Corps option. But there are only 2 slots per year.
