As a graduate student, I understand that you're eligible for a total of $18,500 per year. Now my question is do you have to stay in good academic standing and complete a certain amount of credit hours each year in order to keep recieving aid? Or does this vary from school to school?

The rules for stafford loans are set by the government. And yes you have to stay a full time student to keep your aid.
